IbisLink 2.2 Release Notes
IbisLink 2.2 is a big practical update focused on day-to-day pilot admin: better roster imports, new runsheet tools, technical quiz improvements, calendar export control, and a few quality-of-life fixes across pay, duty and startup flows.
New Daily Runsheet
Version 2.2 introduces a new daily runsheet workflow. You can build a digital runsheet from your roster, add working notes, and generate a polished PDF when you need a paper copy. There is also early support for a runsheet widget, bringing key runsheet notes onto the home screen.
Roster Import Improvements
Roster PDF importing has had a major lift. This release adds support for roster PDF import, improves import summaries, adds clearer “what changed” views after import, and fixes several edge cases around duty changes, reserve recognition, flight-time recalculation and landscape layouts.
Departure Checklist
A new departure checklist tool has been added. You can create reusable checklist items and tick them off before each sector, with improvements to ordering, duplicate handling and checklist efficiency.
Tech Quiz
The technical quiz feature has expanded with fleet-specific questions, IFR content, custom quiz support, progress tracking and drag-to-order question interactions. The bundled question database has also been refreshed, including fixes for incorrect answer flags and F100 question content.
Flappy Bus
Flappy Bus is now included, complete with leaderboard support, fleet-specific questions, updated splash/disclaimer handling, offline safeguards and display fixes.
Pay & Roster Centre
The Pay & Roster Centre has received a broad set of improvements, including:
- corrected FY26 PAYG tables
- fixes for duty-hour and FHC calculations
- better payslip UI and PDF handling
- a privacy toggle for pay values
- improved pay-cycle saving performance
- support for 2027 selection
- fixes for ground instructor/admin allowances
- better handling of unknown duty types
Calendar Export
Calendar export is back with improved settings and opt-out handling. Stored ICS files can now be deleted when opting out, and a timezone-related issue that could cause calendar events to appear one day early has been addressed.
Widgets and iOS Support
This release adds early WidgetKit support, including native iOS widget plumbing and snapshot services for runsheet/widget data. App icons and splash assets have also been refreshed.
Fixes and Polish
IbisLink 2.2 also includes startup stability improvements, dark mode fixes, DOJ processor updates, bundled database updates, UI padding/layout refinements, and general performance improvements across the app.
